Formula E Wraps Up Productive Valencia Test Ahead of 2025/26 Season

The Formula E World Championship wrapped up its 2025-26 pre-season testing at Spain’s Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Valencia on October 31, showcasing five days of intense and valuable preparation ahead of the season opener in São Paulo.

Edoardo Mortara led the timing charts for Mahindra Racing, clocking a best lap of 1 minute, 21.493 seconds.

Reigning champion Oliver Rowland from Nissan and rookie Taylor Barnard of DS Penske secured the second and third spots, respectively.

The times were remarkably close, with less than one second separating the entire field.

In addition to outright speed, teams concentrated on energy management, race simulations, and adapting to the updated qualifying and Attack Mode rules.

These sessions provided an early glimpse into how the final Gen3 Evo cars will perform under race conditions.
