Formula E will kick off EVO Sessions this year with a bang by partnering with Arcade to pit creators against each other on February 15 at the Jeddha E-Pirx.

Arcade manages and produces the Sidemen, the UK’s most influential creator collective with over 21 million subscribers.

The EVO Sessions aim to put global content creators into the GEN3 Evo race car and bring Formula E to the forefront of the next generation of fans, helping FE define the youth culture of motorsport.

During these sessions, the creators will push themselves to their physical limits, signalling Formula E’s move beyond traditional celebrity involvement into true co-creation as they look to speak directly to Gen Z audiences.

Two teams will race head-to-head to chase the fastest lap, knock out rivals along the way, until the quickest driver from each team faces off in a winner-takes-all duel.

Each creator will be paired with a Formula E team and a world-class driver to mentor them. They will work alongside some of the world’s most recognisable manufacturers: Jaguar, Nissan, Porsche, Stellantis, Mahindra and Lola Cars, and top racing brands Andretti and CUPRA Kiro.

Arcade brings unparalleled expertise in capturing youth-culture attention. The partnership ensures EVO Sessions become a premier entertainment event within the YouTube ecosystem.

This isn’t the first time Formula E has teamed up with some of the biggest creators.

Last year, MrBeast kicked off the inaugural Formula E EVO Sessions in March, taking the wheel of the GEN3 Evo.

The GEN3 Evo proved too challenging even for the internet’s most extreme taskmaster, ending with him crashing into the barriers on just his second lap; the moment went viral and drew fresh attention to the sport.

The inaugural event in Miami last year, featuring stars such as Brooklyn Peltz-Beckham, Sergio Agüero, and Tom Felton, set a new benchmark in Formula E content performance.

The EVO Sessions have become an integral part of Formula E’s strategy to attract new, younger audiences to the sport.

EVO Sessions will be streamed live on Formula E’s YouTube channel, giving fans the chance to watch their favourite creators live in real time within a competitive format.

Jeff Dodds, Chief Executive Officer, Formula E, said: “By putting the world’s most influential content creators into the GEN3 Evo car, and giving them a genuine competitive format, we’re opening Formula E to hundreds of millions of new fans in a way that feels authentic, exciting and bold. This year, we’ve really stepped up a gear to create what we know will be a truly entertaining experience for fans to follow. It’s never happened before in motorsport, and we are proud to be leading the way.”

Ellie Norman, Chief Marketing Officer, Formula E, added: “This is what the future of sport looks like. Content creators are how the new generation of fans discover and connect with sport. We are co-creating the defining youth culture of sport in real-time.”
