Formula One celebrates 75 years of world championship running this year. It is often labelled the pinnacle of all motorsports due to the high levels of speed combined with skill and innovation. What is invented within the F1 sphere has shaped the way road cars are manufactured for decades. But it would be egregious to ignore the skill on display in other forms of motorsport. While F1 may be the fastest overall, especially in corners and turns, it is not the start and end of all things speed. Indycar and NASCAR all have astonishing top speeds, and many F1 drivers have heaped high praise on those who drive on ovals. Thus, I say F1 is one branch of the tree that is the pinnacle of motorsport.
This blog is to celebrate that branch, engage new and current fans, explore ideas for change within the F1 world, and review races. All fans are welcome herethis is a space to share our opinions on the pinnacle wheel, which we see 24 races a year.
